    My coaching practice
    With Allons-y Coaching, I help people be healthier every day and get their weight under control, so that they can live longer, fuller, and happier lives. My approach is simple and works wonders: we rely on pleasure, “joie de vivre”, and long-term results, NOT on willpower, deprivation, or a quick fix. Why does it work so well? Because we do all the ground work together to make sure that the new habits we establish are easily sustainable. The point is to help clients discover what will improve their health the most with the least effort possible. Of course, it’s 100% individualized and everyone can choose all the tools that work the best for them and their body.
    Professional / Life experience
    It took me a long time before I finally jumped and made coaching my full-time job by creating Allons-y Coaching, LLC. I actually started coaching in 2002 and got into the nutrition field in 2008. But in 2016, I decided to focus 100% on Wellness Coaching. At that time, 2 of my 3 daughters were teenagers and that’s when I realized the devastating effect that the general “health message” that’s going around in (social) media and in our communities had on teens. Teenage girls in particular. Telling our girls that they have to deprive themselves and that they have to suffer to be healthy is destroying them. So I decided to set the record straight and let as many people as possible know that you don’t have to deprive yourself to be healthy, you don’t have to be on a diet, you don’t have to sweat on a treadmill. In a nutshell, you don’t have to suffer! There is a different approach to wellness: a gentle and practical approach that works well beyond expectations and brings long-term results. This is what Allons-y Coaching is all about. You being happier and healthier for the rest of your life!
    My clients
    So many people contact me, thinking that being healthy is hard, or even impossible. Not to mention losing weight and keeping it under control! But soon, they realize that it is actually not that hard if you do it the right way. I love seeing how clients start working with me with a very specific health goal in mind at first. It often revolves around losing weight, becoming more active, lowering cholesterol or blood pressure levels, or manage emotional or binge eating. And after just a few sessions, they discover that they get so much more out of our work together and they end up turning their lives around and blossoming in their new lifestyle. We often start with “pure” health coaching, and pretty soon, we open up to a more holistic approach and touch on topics that are usually associated with life coaching, such as self-discovery, time management, work/life balance. There isn’t much that can make me happier that supporting my clients in their adventure and witnessing their amazing results!
